Earl Duby – President

Earl Duby is the CSO50 Award-winning Chief Information Security Officer of Lear Corporation, where he defends business operations for a Fortune 150 with more than 160,000 employees in 257 locations.

With expertise featured in such publications as IDG’s CSO, Enterprise Security Magazine and Government Technology, Earl has been on the frontlines of operational defense throughout several worldwide cyberattacks.

Earl’s message is one of empowerment through best practices stretching beyond the workplace. For over twenty years, this message has inspired employees across several global organizations.

Erik Wille – Treasure

Erik Wille is the Director of Information Security for Penske Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: PAG).  Erik started with Penske in 2007 as an intern and held multiple roles in project management, data analysis and application development before moving into Information Security in 2012. 

Erik holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in information assurance from Walsh College and is certified as a CISSP, GPEN and GWAPT.

Arun DeSouza – Secretary

Arun is currently Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at Nexteer Automotive Corporation.   He has extensive global IT and security leadership experience. Arun’s areas of expertise include strategic planning, risk management, identity management, cloud computing and privacy. His current interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), security analytics, blockchain and quantum computing.

Arun earned his Master’s and PhD degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security professional (CISSP). He has won multiple industry honors:  CSO50 Award, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders Award, CIO Ones to Watch Award and the Network World Enterprise All Star Award. 

Rob Force – Director of Membership

Rob is a Regional Sales Manager at McAfee specializing in cloud and Co-Founder for the Detroit CSA. He has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Security with an emphasis in Cloud for over a decade.

Rob is an alumnus of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.

Rajiv Das – Director of Sponsorship

Rajiv has more than 25 years of information technology strategy, operations, large systems integration, cyber security and program management experience. Rajiv recently joined Plante Moran after serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, State of Michigan.

He is an alumnus of Michigan State University – Eli Broad College of Business, where he earned his MBA and is a resident of Okemos, Michigan.

Martin Bally – Director of Communication

Martin Bally is a highly- accomplished senior global information security officer with more than 20 years of experience in multiple industries.  Currently, he is the Chief Information Security Officer at FCA where he is responsible for Information, cyber, and product security.  Prior, Mr. Bally was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Diebold Nixdorf and the Chief Information Security Officer at TRW Automotive. He is a trusted advisor to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership.

Mr. Bally earned a Master’s of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University and holds CISSP, CISM, C|CISO, and CRISC security certifications.

Ranu Parmar – Director of Programs

Ranu Parmar Principal Security Engineer with experience in enterprise security, risk management and application security for cloud computing solutions in the banking sector. Additionally, Ranu is one of the Co-Founders for the Detroit CSA. Her cybersecurity risk and compliance experience includes policy driven automation, along with driving visibility for asset protection, Audit and Compliance reporting. Prior experience includes NERC-CIP in the energy sector, IT Service Support and Delivery management in the automotive and aviation industry.

Karla Thomas – Liaison Director

Karla Thomas is the Global Cyber Security IT Director at Tower International.  Karla has enjoyed over 15 years at Tower International serving in several roles including security, risk management, data privacy, infrastructure and auditing.  Karla is also a well-recognized thought leader having spoken at key CISO & CIO events.  Karla will serve on the Detroit CSA Board as the Liaison Director.

Karla has over 20 years of experience in IT and certifications in GIAC GLEG, CBRITP and Professional Development Academy in Cyber Security Leadership.

Grant Harris – Director of Speakers

Grant Harris is the Global Executive Services Director at Optiv and serves in an advisory role to C-level executives to help define their security strategy.  Grant most recently was the CISO at Flagstar Bank where he developed a cyber security program from the ground up in a highly regulated environment while managing multiple mergers and acquisitions.  Grant will serve on the Detroit CSA board as the Director of Speakers.

Grant earned his Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University and Masters at Walsh College.  He also holds certifications in ISACA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Juman Doleh-Alomary – Director of Academic Relations

Juman Doleh-Alomary is the Director of IT Audit at Wayne State University, with over 14 years of experience in audit, security, investigation, compliance, and privacy policy/standards. Juman has served on the ISACA Detroit Chapter Board for several years and most recently as the past President of the chapter and chaired the IIA/ISACA Spring Conference with its record-setting attendance. In addition, she was appointed on the ISACA International Audit & Risk Committee. She is recognized as an expert in the subject of IT audits, governance, security and compliance.  Juman will serve on the Detroit CSA Board as Director of Academic Relations.

Juman holds a Bachelors and Masters from the University of Michigan.  She also holds certifications in CISA, CISM, CRISC, and ISO 27001.
